Drink more water

You should drink 8 - 10 glasses of water per day, but why? Our body needs water for digestion, transporting substances, and to function effectively. Without enough water, you will suffer from heartburn, constipation, ulcers, headaches and increased blood pressure amongst other problems. If you are not drinking enough water, you are more likely to eat rather than drink, which is bad for weight management! Caffeine-containing drinks are dehydrating, so don't include these in your daily water intake, and although other drinks contribute to your water intake, watch out for hidden calories and sugar!
